Job description

We are building a digital orthodontics platform with interactive browser-based 3D tools.

This role is primarily focused on backend 3D geometry and mesh processing with modern C++, with backend and cloud integration as a secondary responsibility. You will build tools for processing complex 3D meshes and integrate them with services used by our web application.

You Are

- Strong in modern C++17 or later.

- Have commercial experience with computational geometry, mesh processing, CAD, medical 3D, 3D printing, or similar systems.

- Understand triangle meshes, topology, normals, boundaries, non-manifold geometry, and numerical tolerances.

- Have worked with mesh operations such as repair, remeshing, simplification, cutting, Boolean operations, offsets, or registration.

- Have practical experience with at least one geometry-processing library or SDK.

- Comfortable with linear algebra and spatial data structures such as BVH or k-d trees.

- Experienced with CMake, Linux, Docker, profiling, and native dependency management.

- Able to write tests for geometry code using fixtures, invariants, and tolerance checks.

- Comfortable integrating native C++ code with backend services through a CLI, library, binding, or containerized worker.

- Familiar with Git workflows, pull requests, and code review.

Will Be a Plus

- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.

- Experience with C++ bindings such as pybind11 or nanobind.

- Familiarity with Three.js, WebGL, or browser-based 3D viewers.

- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.

- Experience with asynchronous processing and object storage.

- Background in medtech, healthcare, scientific visualization, or 3D printing.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.

What We Expect from You

- Own geometry features from implementation to production integration.

- Make practical engineering decisions without unnecessary overengineering.

- Define clear quality checks and tolerances for geometry operations.

- Proactively identify performance, memory, and geometry-quality issues.

- Be comfortable working in an evolving product with changing priorities.

- Collaborate effectively with backend and frontend 3D engineers.

- Review, test, and validate AI-generated code before delivery.

Responsibilities

- Build and improve native C++ mesh-processing tools and libraries.

- Implement and integrate geometry-processing algorithms.

- Package geometry operations as reliable headless Linux workers.

- Integrate native processing with backend services and cloud workflows.

- Define clear inputs, outputs, and structured error reporting.

- Optimize processing time, memory usage, and output mesh quality.

- Write unit, integration, and regression tests for geometry operations.

- Collaborate with Three.js developers on mesh formats, units, coordinate systems, and transforms.

- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.

- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and contribute to engineering best practices.

What We Offer

- Work on an innovative product in the medical-tech and 3D geometry domain.

- High ownership and direct impact on technical decisions.

- Flexible working hours within the European time zone.

- Fully remote, full-time, long-term cooperation.

- A fast-moving environment where strong engineers can influence the product and architecture.

- Company-paid premium AI development tools.

- Professional development support, including courses and certifications.

- 20 paid business days of vacation.

- 5 paid sick-leave days.

- Paid national holidays.
