Your role:

As an Activation Ops Manager, you will be one of the most senior team members. You will oversee a team of Activation Ops Supervisors and Specialists across multiple client accounts. Depending on the team structure, this may include directly managing Specialists where there is no Supervisor layer.

The core pillars of the AO Manager role include:

- Supporting the PHLP LT to ensure the strategic roadmap for the department is implemented and business needs are being met.

- Serving as the bridge between client leadership, PHLP LT, and the AO team to ensure client needs are met and efficiencies are driven where possible.

- Ensuring all stakeholders have the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge to succeed within the Activation Ops team.

- Supporting department-wide initiatives, with a core focus on policy compliance, performance management, and resource management.

What You'll Do

Campaign Execution

- Leverage expertise in digital media channels, including social, programmatic media via DSPs, and SEM/PPC, to support Kepler processes.

- Execute campaign setup, trafficking, building, and reporting tasks for assigned clients/accounts.

Resource Management

- Manage resource allocation, including staffing, cross-client flex capacity, platform access, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization.

- Develop schedules, workflows, and procedures to streamline operations and maximize productivity.

- Monitor team bandwidth and coverage needs and support resource planning across assigned teams.

Quality Control

- Establish and enforce quality standards across assigned teams.

- Implement quality control processes and monitor performance to identify and address issues or deviations from established standards.

Team Leadership

- Lead and supervise Activation Ops Supervisors and Specialists, including direct management of Specialists where applicable based on team structure.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to promote high performance and team morale.

- Oversee Senior Specialists and ensure assigned employee engagement projects are progressing successfully.

- Oversee cross-client OISAs and support their successful integration and collaboration across client teams.

Staff Management

- Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating team members to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.

- Conduct regular 1:1 and group meetings.

- Provide feedback and create action plans to support employee development and performance.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with relevant Kepler and PHLP policies, processes, and corporate standards.

- Support adherence to policies and employee-related processes, including time-off requests, sick leave, and other employee matters.

- Partner with People/HR and relevant leadership when escalation or additional guidance is required.

Performance Management, Monitoring & Reporting

- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.

- Support development plans and performance improvement processes when needed.

- Analyze key performance metrics and operational results to evaluate effectiveness.

- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.

Team Representation & Coordination

- Act as the senior representative for the Activation Ops team.

- Collaborate with client teams, PHLP LT, and Activation Ops leadership across regions.

- Maximize cross-team integration, support successful task transitions, and promote best practices.

Strategic Planning

- Execute the Activation Ops roadmap and adapt projects as needed.

- Ensure timelines are met and relevant feedback is communicated across stakeholders.

- Regularly measure success in collaboration with relevant leadership teams across solutions, centers of excellence, and operational teams.

What You Need

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- 3–4+ years of experience in digital media (display, mobile, social, search, etc.), with experience in ad operations, campaign trafficking, and campaign building.

- 3–4+ years of experience in people management in a similar role; experience managing large teams is preferred.

- Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across international teams.

- Ability to work independently after a reasonable adaptation period, prioritize departmental decisions and projects, and manage competing priorities.

- Proven problem-solving skills and experience working in a process-driven environment.

- Ability to manage complex workloads across multiple technological platforms.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis, and Internet technologies.

- Strong self-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.

- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. All majors are welcome, preferably those related to Communications or Advertising.
