AI engineer - LLMs and preferably AWS

Job description

Role Summary

We are looking for an AI Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and developing AI solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AWS cloud services. The role focuses on building production-ready AI applications for the statutory health insurance sector while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with GDPR and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop AI-powered applications such as chatbots, intelligent document processing, semantic search, and AI assistants.

Design and implement LLM- and RAG-based solutions for knowledge retrieval, summarization, classification, translation, and information extraction.

Build AI agents and agentic workflows for business process automation.

Develop backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask) and REST.

Build and maintain ML pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

Integrate AWS AI services, particularly Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker.

Ensure secure handling of healthcare data in compliance with GDPR and Responsible AI principles.

Work closely with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
