About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Mobile Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. You will contribute to mobile solutions, support architectural decisions, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members.

Responsibilities

- Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks

- Build Store Capture and Transition Steering mobile solutions

- Integrate and maintain the Scandit scanning library

- Create modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose

- Design and maintain robust state management and offline capabilities

- Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with Kafka-based backend services

- Ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, application performance, and release processes

- Take a technical leadership role in Android-related topics and drive technical decisions

- Support and mentor team members

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Backend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

- 8+ years of professional Android development experience

- Strong expertise in Kotlin

- Extensive hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose

- Solid understanding of Coroutines, Flows, and asynchronous programming

- Experience with Retrofit and/or Ktor

- Strong knowledge of REST API integration and API-first architectures

- Experience with unit and UI testing, including JUnit, Espresso, and Compose UI Testing

- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines

- Understanding of event-driven architectures and integration patterns such as REST and Kafka

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions

- Previous experience as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer, including architectural guidance and technical mentoring

Nice to Have

- Experience with modern web frontend development

- Strong knowledge of Vue.js, TypeScript, and Node.js

- UX/UI design experience

- Experience developing responsive web applications
