Azure DevOps Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized environments, and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure

- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar IaC tools

- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment and release processes

- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices

- Support containerized workloads and cloud-native environments

- Continuously improve infrastructure, automation, and DevOps processes

Requirements

- Proven commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Good scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python

- Understanding of cloud networking and security principles

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure-related tasks

Nice to Have

- Experience with AWS or multi-cloud environments

- Experience with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana

- Experience with AKS

- Knowledge of secrets management, access control, and Azure security practices
