Short-term opportunity has opened up for a Mid Backend Developer to join a dynamic project team delivering solutions for a SaaS platform in the hospitality industry. The role focuses on developing backend functionalities, building data processing and ETL solutions, working with serverless AWS architecture, and contributing to an early AI insights layer.

Key Details:

- Employment Type: B2B Contract (Outsourcing)

- Hourly Rate: 90 - 100 PLN/h

- Project Duration: 3 months with a potential extension

- Start Date: October 2026

- Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must be residents of Poland)

- Working Hours: 8-hour workday with flexible core start hours (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)

- Equipment: Laptop provided

Key Responsibilities & Project Context:

- Developing backend functionalities and business logic using Python.

- Building serverless solutions with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Serverless Framework.

- Developing ETL and data processing workflows using Pandas, Polars, and DuckDB.

- Working with S3, Athena, PostgreSQL, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and Pydantic.

- Contributing to the development of an early AI insights layer.

- Working within an AI-SDLC / Spec-Driven Development process, using AI tools to accelerate development while critically reviewing generated code for quality and correctness.

Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years of commercial experience in Backend Development.

- Strong proficiency in Python.

- Practical experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Serverless Framework.

- Experience with Pandas, Polars, DuckDB, or similar data-processing technologies.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic, as well as familiarity with S3/Athena.

- Practical experience with Flask.

- Experience with Pydantic.

- Hands-on fluency with AI development tools and the ability to quickly and critically evaluate AI-generated code.

- Fluent spoken and written English (minimum B2 level).
