Role Overview
micro1 is engaging Cantonese Transcription Experts to support a customer project focused on professional audio transcription and AI training. You'll use your Cantonese language expertise to create accurate, high-quality data that helps improve next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required—your linguistic and transcription expertise is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Transcribe and annotate Cantonese and English audio recordings accurately and consistently.
- Review and correct automated transcripts according to project guidelines.
- Capture language nuances, accents, dialects, speaker intent, and contextual cues.
- Produce clean, accurate, and time-stamped transcripts.
- Proofread and quality-check transcripts before submission.
- Resolve unclear or ambiguous audio content in collaboration with project leads.
- Apply required linguistic annotations and labels for AI training data.
- Provide linguistic feedback to improve transcription quality and workflows.
- Complete assignments according to project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security throughout the project.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using transcription, audio playback, or annotation tools.
- Ability to type in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AI training, speech data, NLP, or linguistic annotation is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet remote project deadlines.
