ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will drive business development and revenue growth within assigned existing accounts & clients. This role focuses on deepening client relationships, expanding wallet share, and aligning account strategies with client business goals. The role collaborates closely with internal & external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional client experience and support account success. Preferred Location: Columbus, OH / Dallas or Austin, TX / Chicago, IL. Base Salary range 180K – 200K
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and influencers (up to VP level)
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client business models, strategies, and priorities
- Drive superior client satisfaction and loyalty, measured through Net Promoter Score (NPS). Achieve superior NPS
- Expand account footprint by identifying and developing new lines of business or market segments
- Drive and close high-value, complex contract negotiations & deals
- Drive revenue growth by increasing wallet share and expanding existing and net-new revenue streams within assigned accounts
- Own executive-level client relationships across a portfolio of large, complex accounts — acting as the ultimate point of contact, trusted advisor, and internal advocate to ensure services consistently deliver strategic value
- Drive portfolio growth by identifying expansion opportunities, building account development plans, and championing deal pursuit from pipeline through contract signature
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in consultative sales, account management, or customer success with enterprise or ISV clients with a proven track record of account revenue growth and strategic relationships.
- 6+ years leading large, complex account portfolios with proven revenue growth, high client satisfaction, and long-term retention within financial services and insurance clients with a strong knowledge of how regulated environment shapes what clients can buy, how they buy it and how deals get approved.
- Fluency in the technology that runs the sector: core banking, payments, policy and claims platforms, cloud hyperscalers, and data platforms.
- Commercial fluency in enterprise AI: the ability to frame where AI creates value and manages risk for financial services and insurance clients, and to turn that into pipeline. Technical depth is a plus, not a requirement.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable, value-driven growth plans
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and client-specific market dynamics
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 30% to the client and team locations
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (IT or Business); advanced degree preferred.
