Data Engineer

Job description

Now we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, who will design and maintain our data pipelines, integrate with third-party payment systems, and work closely with our data analysts to keep our data ecosystem accurate and efficient.

What you’ll do:

- Write Python integrations with third-party payment systems (PayPal, Primer, Solidgate, etc.)

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes for internal DWH

- Ensure the quality of data presented in BI dashboards

- Collaborate with data analysts to troubleshoot data issues and optimize data workflows

Who you are:

- At least 2 years of BI/DWH development experience

- Strong hands-on experience writing production-level Python code, including building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs (REST APIs, authentication/OAuth, pagination, rate limiting, webhooks)

- Hands-on experience integrating with payment/ billing platforms such as PayPal, Primer, Solidgate, Stripe, or similar payment gateways

- Experience working with app store billing /reporting APIs (App Store Connect/iTunes, Google Play Console/ Billing )

- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines

- Experience working with cloud-native technologies (GCP/AWS)

- Knowledge of database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL

Would be a plus:

- Background in enterprise financial reporting and subscription monetization

- Exposure to product and marketing data analytics

- Familiarity with mobile products

- Working knowledge of Airflow

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience)
