Private Equity Associate – Real Estate (US)

Job description

Mercor is hiring experienced **private equity associates** to build a financial model from a synthetic deal document pack, then peer-review models built by two other contractors on the same transaction.

### What you'll do

- Build a working financial model of an assigned **real estate** transaction from a synthetic deal document pack

- Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions

- Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria, with a short written rationale for each and a completed review scorecard

### Requirements

- **2–4 years total experience**: ~2 years investment banking (Real Estate or Industrials) followed by 1–2 years in private equity

- Currently or recently an **Associate at a real-estate-focused mid-market or upper-mid-market PE fund**

- Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template

- Fluent **English**
