Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects across multiple environments. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage end-to-end transition and transformation (T&T) initiatives, working with global teams and multiple stakeholders.

You will be responsible for delivering projects related to IT infrastructure, including data centres, digital workplace environments, and network setups, both locally and across remote locations.

Responsibilities

Manage IT transition and transformation activities across all project phases

Own full project lifecycle including due diligence, planning, knowledge transfer, service readiness, execution, hypercare, and stabilization

Define and manage project scope, schedule, governance, and deliverables

Monitor critical path, risks, issues, and dependencies

Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

Provide clear visibility on progress, risks, and mitigation plans

Support service onboarding and ensure operational readiness

Requirements

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure environments (servers, networks, EUC, data centres)

Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects

Solid knowledge of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, quality, benefits)

Ability to manage critical path and identify risks proactively

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience working in global delivery models (onsite, nearshore, offshore)

Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Experience with tools such as MS Project, Excel, ServiceNow is an advantage

Fluent English (C1 level); German is a plus

Experience

Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a technical environment

At least 2 years of experience leading IT Transition & Transformation projects

Experience with IT infrastructure services is required

Experience in multinational environments and global delivery setups

Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries is a plus

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or equivalent are preferred
