- Track project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, proactively addressing blockers

- Liaise with stakeholders to translate HMRC regulatory requirements into actionable development tasks

- Manage the product backlog and prioritize features in collaboration with the Product Owner

- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

- Ensure compliance with HMRC's MTD technical specifications and API standards

- Prepare status reports and present progress to senior stakeholders and leadership

- Identify process improvements to increase team efficiency and delivery quality

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development, ideally within fintech, taxtech, or regulatory compliance projects

- Familiarity with UK tax regulations and HMRC's Making Tax Digital initiative is a strong advantage

- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar)

- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is a plus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with API integrations

- Background in accounting software or fintech products

- Knowledge of GDPR and UK data protection requirements

What We Offer
