R&D Lead – Classical Communication & Compute

Responsibilities:

- Define and drive a forward-looking research agenda

- Explore novel architectures and emerging technology paradigms

- Develop prototypes, experiments, and technology demonstrators

- Lead technology foresight and strategic assessments

- Collaborate internationally with academia, startups, and industry leaders

- Represent the company in global research and industry ecosystems

- Translate research into future network and infrastructure strategies

- Contribute to intellectual property generation, publications, and thought leadership

Requirements:

- Expertise in multiple areas (g. wireless, photonics, AI/HPC, distributed systems, future internet architecture)

- Experience in applied research, prototyping, or advanced tech development

- Ability to bridge research, engineering, and business

- Strong network in academia/industry

- Very good command of English (written and spoken)

- Strong systems-thinking and architectural mindset

- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills

- Curiosity, vision, and passion for deep tech

Nice to have:

- Telecommunications, Computer Science, EE, Physics, or similar, PhDis a significant plus
