Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join an international team focused on optimizing financial processes within a large-scale IT landscape. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and a proven ability to enhance complex SAP environments.

Main Responsibilities:

- Maintain and develop the existing SAP FI/CO landscape, with a primary focus on SAP FI.

- Support business units with operational, system-related, and process-related topics.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into suitable SAP solutions.

- Ensure stable and efficient financial processes across the SAP environment.

- Perform customizing and configuration within SAP FI/CO.

- Support the implementation of new business and accounting requirements.

- Analyze and resolve functional issues occurring during operations.

- Continuously optimize the existing SAP ERP environment.

- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on cross-functional topics.

Key Requirements:

- Several years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant.

- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI, including GL, AP, AR, and related accounting processes.

- Experience with SAP FI customizing and configuration.

- Solid understanding of end-to-end financial processes represented in SAP.

- Familiarity with Application Management / AMS environments.

- Experience with SAP ERP / ECC.

- Knowledge of data migration processes, ideally LSMW.

- Understanding of New GL and associated processes.

- Strong German language proficiency (B2–C1).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work in the German time zone.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformations.

- Understanding of cross-functional processes integrating with other SAP modules.

- Experience in regulated industries such as Banking or Financial Services.

- Knowledge of ISO 20022 and related payment processes.
