ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will join a security-focused engineering team working on a large on-premises healthcare product. You will collaborate with developers, architects, security specialists, and QA engineers to verify security improvements and prevent regressions in a mature C++/Qt application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement automated tests for security-related changes

- Validate fixes implemented against security requirements

- Test application inputs and protection against injection and similar attack scenarios

- Perform automated functional, integration, and regression testing

- Verify that security changes do not break existing functionality

- Reproduce, analyze, and document defects

- Work closely with developers during defect resolution

- Integrate automated tests into the team’s development and release process

- Contribute to the overall QA approach for the security backlog

REQUIREMENTS

- 3+ years of experience designing automated tests for complex software products

- 1+ years of hands-on experience with C++

- Experience testing desktop and/or on-premises applications

- Good understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing

- Ability to test security-related scenarios, including input validation and injection protection

- Qt-based desktop software is beneficial for effective collaboration with developers

- SQL knowledge and experience validating database-driven workflows; Oracle Database experience is an advantage

- Experience testing mature or legacy applications is an advantage

- Strong analytical, debugging, and defect investigation skills

- Security testing experience is a strong advantage

- Good communication and collaboration skills with spoken English
