We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our team and lead the design of customer data solutions primarily using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. This role involves working closely with multiple clients, understanding their requirements, and conducting discovery sessions to define target architectures. You will produce high-quality documentation and designs that guide the delivery team while providing technical leadership to Data Engineers and Data Visualization Engineers. You will produce high-quality documentation and designs that guide the delivery team while providing technical leadership to Data Engineers and Data Visualization Engineers. - Acting as the technical authority for data architecture and design throughout the project lifecycle

- Leading customer discovery, requirements gathering, and envisioning sessions

- Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and communicating confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences

- Translating business requirements into clear technical requirements, architectures, and delivery approaches

- Producing high-quality HLDs, architecture diagrams, data flows, data models, and supporting technical documentation

- Designing Microsoft Fabric solutions using appropriate Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and Medallion architecture patterns

- Defining dimensional models using Kimball principles, including facts, dimensions, star schemas, grain, surrogate keys, and Slowly Changing Dimensions

- Making and documenting architectural decisions, including rationale, assumptions, dependencies, and technical risks

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture or a related field

- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory

- Expertise in data warehousing and Kimball dimensional modeling

- Proficiency in Medallion architecture and modern data engineering patterns

- Hands-on experience with Azure data services and integration patterns

- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and deployment approaches for modern data platforms

- Excellent communication skills to lead customer-facing technical discussions and workshops

- Fluent English

- Residency in Poland

Nice to have

- Experience with Power BI and semantic model architecture

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps Boards and Agile/Scrum delivery

- Pełnienie roli technicznego autorytetu w zakresie architektury danych i projektowania przez cały cykl życia projektu

- Przewodzenie sesjom odkrywania potrzeb klienta, zbierania wymagań i wizjonerskim

- Budowanie silnych relacji z interesariuszami klienta i pewne komunikowanie się zarówno z publicznością techniczną, jak i nietechniczną

- Przekładanie wymagań biznesowych na jasne wymagania techniczne, architektury i podejścia do dostarczania

- Produkcja wysokiej jakości HLD, diagramów architektury, przepływów danych, modeli danych oraz dokumentacji technicznej

- Projektowanie rozwiązań Microsoft Fabric z wykorzystaniem odpowiednich wzorców architektury Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake i Medallion

- Definiowanie modeli wymiarowych zgodnie z zasadami Kimballa, w tym faktów, wymiarów, schematów gwiazdowych, ziaren, kluczy zastępczych oraz powoli zmieniających się wymiarów

- Podejmowanie i dokumentowanie decyzji architektonicznych, w tym uzasadnienia, założeń, zależności i ryzyk technicznych

Wymagania

- Minimum 5-letnie doświadczenie w architekturze danych lub pokrewnej dziedzinie

- Silna wiedza i praktyczne doświadczenie z Microsoft Fabric, w tym OneLake, Lakehouse i Data Factory

- Ekspertyza w zakresie hurtowni danych i modelowania wymiarowego według Kimballa

- Biegłość w architekturze Medallion i nowoczesnych wzorcach inżynierii danych

- Praktyczne doświadczenie z usługami danych Azure i wzorcami integracyjnymi

- Znajomość CI/CD, Git oraz podejść do wdrażania nowoczesnych platform danych

- Doskonale umiejętności komunikacyjne do prowadzenia technicznych dyskusji i warsztatów z klientami

- Biegła znajomość języka angielskiego

- Rezydencja w Polsce

Mile widziane

- Doświadczenie z Power BI i architekturą modelu semantycznego
