Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineers and Go

Job description

We are looking Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineers to join a large-scale cloud-native platform project focused on Kubernetes, platform automation and GitOps.

- Remote within Europe

- Start: ASAP

- Duration: Until end of the year + strong extension potential

- Capacity: 100%

- Project language: English

- Time zone: German business hours

Responsibilities

- Scale, optimize and enhance existing Kubernetes clusters

- Design and configure new cluster environments

- Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators & Custom Controllers

- Work with Go & Kubebuilder

- Build and improve platform automation

- Automate infrastructure and platform lifecycle processes

- Implement GitOps workflows with FluxCD

- Work on testing, reliability and continuous platform improvements

Requirements

- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in enterprise-scale environments

- Experience operating and scaling large Kubernetes landscapes

- Strong Go (Golang) skills

- Kubebuilder

- Proven experience with Operators / Custom Controllers

- Strong GitOps knowledge

- FluxCD

- Crossplane

- Platform Engineering & Platform Automation experience

- Fluent English

Nice to have:

- Gardener

- SAP BTP

- AWS / Azure / GCP

- Large-scale cloud-native platforms

- Platform Engineering / SRE experience
