Senior M365 Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior M365 Engineer to support day-to-day engineering and operations of the Microsoft 365 collaboration platform, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive, covering service administration, configuration, access, service health and platform troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

- Manage mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, mail flow rules and quarantine within Exchange Online

- Administer team and channel lifecycle, meeting policies, guest access and Teams Phone

- Handle site creation, permissions, storage and quota management, external sharing policies, sync and retention compliance for SharePoint Online and OneDrive

- Monitor service health, usage and capacity across the platform

- Process standard platform requests and configuration changes

- Diagnose and remediate Microsoft 365 platform issues at L2/L3 level

- Contribute to major-incident support alongside Security and Identity teams

Requirements

- 3+ years of Microsoft 365 / collaboration platform engineering experience

- Expertise in Exchange Online mailbox management, mail flow and hybrid considerations

- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams policies, meetings and basic voice/telephony administration

- Skills in SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration, permissions, sharing and storage management

- Knowledge of Entra ID and Conditional Access

- Competency in Exchange Online PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and PowerShell scripting

- Familiarity with Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps and CI/CD

- Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)

- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
