ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a large European public-sector environment driving complex digital transformation and modernization initiatives. As a Project Manager with strong Business Analysis expertise, you will lead end-to-end IT projects while partnering closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, optimize processes, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact digital solutions in an international, multicultural setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead complex IT and migration projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and governance requirements.

- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, costs, risks, dependencies, and quality measures while proactively managing delivery performance.

- Monitor project progress, resource utilization, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions and managing change requests when necessary.

- Coordinate project teams, assign priorities, review deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure successful execution across all project phases.

- Manage stakeholder communication, governance activities, status reporting, and decision-making processes while maintaining strong relationships with business and technical teams.

- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, translating business needs into clear functional specifications and solution requirements.

- Analyze and model business processes using BPMN and UML, creating process flows, diagrams, wireframes, and mockups that support solution design and process optimization.

- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities while supporting data querying, analysis, and validation activities within relational database environments.

REQUIREMENTS

- Master's degree or equivalent qualification corresponding to EQF Level 7.

- 10+ years of professional IT experience.

- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager and 5+ years of project planning experience.

- 10+ years of experience in business model analysis and modelling, requirements elicitation, UML, BPMN, Jira, and MS Project.

- 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments and strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Lean Agile practices.

- 5+ years of experience with mockup and wireframing tools such as Balsamiq, Figma, or Gliffy, and experience with diagramming, modelling, and wireframing tools.

- 5+ years of experience with relational database querying, analysis, and validation, combined with strong knowledge of information systems.

- Strong knowledge of PM2, PRINCE2, PMBOK, project scheduling, strategic planning, performance tracking, governance, and project delivery best practices.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with English proficiency at C1 level or higher; French or German, as well as experience in public administration or European standardization environments, are considered strong advantages.
