Job description

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and owning the company's automated quality strategy from the ground up. This includes developing end-to-end test automation, performance testing, AI evaluation infrastructure, and validation processes while integrating everything into the CI/CD pipeline.

You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain an end-to-end automation framework using Playwright.

- Build automated UI, API, integration, and backend tests.

- Create AI evaluation infrastructure, including regression testing and validation for AI-powered features.

- Design and execute performance, load, and stress testing.

- Develop Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and traceability matrices.

- Build and maintain reliable test environments and test data.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve release quality.

- Collaborate closely with software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.

- Readiness to work from 16:00 till 01:00 in order to have an optimal overlap of work hours with USA based teams.

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Development in Test (SDET).

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (or another modern browser automation framework).

- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or C#.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, Locust, JMeter, or Gatling.

- Experience working in regulated environments with validation documentation (21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or GAMP 5).

- Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL).

- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

- Startup experience.

- Experience testing enterprise SaaS products.

- API contract testing (Pact, OpenAPI).

- Experience with cloud and on-premise integrations.

- Manufacturing, ERP, MES, or CRM domain experience.

- Accessibility and cross-browser testing experience.
