Summary

The Software Engineer role focuses on developing secure and precise ownership transfers using distributed ledger technology (DLT), contributing to a platform trusted by key financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop platform components implementing business logic and workflows.

- Integrate with external systems via APIs and message queues.

- Participate in threat-modelling sessions and architectural reviews.

- Ensure compliance with high standards for correctness, security, and confidentiality.

- Join an on-call rotation for production operations support.

Must Haves:

- Master's degree in computer science.

- 7+ years of software engineering experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Java (JVM).

- Strong foundations in databases, concurrency, security, and networking.

- Proven experience with production-grade systems.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills in English.

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with functional or strongly typed programming paradigms.

- Familiarity with Canton/Daml or other DLTs.

- Experience with Kubernetes or containerized services.

- Knowledge of relational databases and message-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure.
